My name is Gina McDonald I reside in Olive Branch, Mississippi. I have drawn since the day I first picked up a pencil.  Now I have moved on to painting and my art generally tends to have a sort of Asian flair to it.

I just became a member of the Mississippi Arts Commission and I am very excited about that!

I have just now gotten to a place in my life where I have the opportunity to make something good out of something bad that was given me and see if I can really make this happen.

I paint till I loose track of time and my bones creak as loud as the floor. I paint till I get hungry for breakfast only to find out its dinner. I THANK GOD for giving me the opportunity to do something I have wanted to do my whole life, pick up a paint brush. Thank you Father how I love you! you are always there with me through good and the bad, and it is to you I owe this precious gift. Help me to remember that all things are through you Lord. ..
